About the Exhibition

2010 Outdoor Prize 'Horizon Figure' by Greg Johns
The Adelaide Airport Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures will be held by the sea again, in conjunction with the Brighton Jetty Classic Swim and Rowdown from Wednesday January 26th to Sunday 6th February 2011.
The Adelaide Airport Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures was inspired by Brighton Surf Life Saving members after experiencing sculptures at Cottesloe Beach WA, the latter event modeled on the famous Bondi Sculptures.
Our vision is to continue to hold a major arts event in conjunction with the successful annual Brighton Jetty Classic Swim. The combination of both arts and sport is a unique and successful community event.
Sculptures large and small for outdoor and indoor display will be made from multi media compositions i.e. wood, wire, glass, metals, stone, clay, plastics, cement etc.
While continuing with the successful exhibition of indoor sculptures, we have substantially increased the prize money for large outdoor sculptures.

Artists are invited to enter their sculpture in what will be both an exhibition and a competition. A judging panel will award nine cash prizes. Categories are:
