About the Event
The event was inspired by Brighton Surf Life Saving Club members after experiencing sculptures at Cottesloe Beach WA, the latter event modeled on the famous Bondi Sculptures by the Sea.

Our vision is to continue to hold a major arts event concluding with the successful annual 7 Brighton Jetty Classic Swim.  The combination of both arts and sport is a unique and successful community event.
Sculptures large and small for outdoor and indoor display will be made from multi media compositions and techniques

While continuing with the exhibition of indoor sculptures, we encourage entry of large outdoor works suitable to be placed in adjacent Bindarra Reserve and along the Sculptures Walk, Esplanade, Brighton beach.

This Community event was a finalist in the 2012 Ruby Awards in South Australia
