Michael’s  artistic practice encompasses sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, video and sound. His practice is material and process-based, resulting in aesthetic/haptic outcomes that play at the borders of abstraction. His most recent work is the large public sculpture located off Jetty road, Glenelg, titled ‘sesquipedalian sea squirt’.

Diane Ranck

Diane's interest in the environment stems from her geography background. She loved geography as a student which led to becoming a geography teacher and university lecturer. She is fascinated with the interaction of people with nature.

Artists bring optimism and hope, despite the trials and tribulations of the state of the world. Diane likes to see how they use their materials to create a sense of place and evoke feelings through their experiences captured in their sculptures.

Her first time judging art was in Bangkok at an exhibition called "Chards". She is an avid collector of sculptures and other pieces of art, supporting local artists in particular. Diane believe we can all learn about the stories behind these pieces.
